Let’s be honest — creating consistent content as a wellness entrepreneur can feel like a full-time job. You’re already wearing a dozen hats: supporting clients, keeping up with your certifications, and maybe even navigating your own wellness journey. And then content planning? That somehow becomes the last thing on your to-do list.
But here’s the truth: It doesn’t have to be so hard.
In fact, you can plan a full month of aligned, strategic, on-brand content in just one sitting — without second-guessing every caption or spending hours staring at a blank Canva screen.
Let me walk you through how.
Step 1: Start with Your Offers
Before you even think about what to post — zoom out.
What are you promoting this month?
Maybe it’s:
→ A new mini-course on hormone health
→ Your 1:1 coaching spots opening up
→ A freebie you want more people to grab
Your content should support your business goals. So write down 1–2 key offers or lead magnets you want to highlight. These become your content anchors for the month.
Step 2: Pick 4 Weekly Themes
Now that you know what you’re promoting, choose 4 themes that support those offers — one per week.
For example:
- Week 1: Gut health basics
- Week 2: Hormone-balancing foods
- Week 3: Behind-the-scenes of your client process
- Week 4: Common myths about [insert your niche]
Themes give your content direction, reduce decision fatigue, and make it easier to batch create.
Step 3: Choose Your Content Pillars
Next, map out your content mix using 3–4 core pillars.
I like to think of these as your content “types” that rotate regularly.
For wellness pros, this might look like:
✨ Educational – Tips, myths, how-tos
🧡 Personal – Your story, why you do this work
📣 Promotional – Offers, launches, freebies
💬 Engagement – Questions, relatable moments, behind the scenes
Each week, aim to include at least 3 of these types. Variety keeps your audience engaged and nurtured.
Step 4: Use Strategic Prompts (not just ideas)
This is where so many wellness entrepreneurs get stuck:
They think of what they want to say, but not how to say it.
Instead of winging it, start with strategic prompts that are already written for your niche, your offers, and your brand tone.
Not sure where to find them? I’ve got you covered with 30 wellness-specific post ideas in my free guide, the Wellness Content Jumpstart. You can grab it here.
Here’s an example from inside the guide:
Prompt:
“Write a caption sharing your personal story with burnout and how it led you to become a health coach. Use a grounded, encouraging tone and end with an invitation to connect.”
Way easier than “write something vulnerable,” right?
Step 5: Pair Your Posts with Templates
Once your captions are mapped out, it’s time to plug them into graphics or carousels. Don’t start from scratch every time. Use reusable Canva templates so your visuals stay on-brand and effortless.
✨ Pro tip: My Wellness Content Template Pack includes 60+ done-for-you Canva graphics for educational posts, testimonials, offers, and more.
This is the key to going from:
“I know what to say” → 🎨 “It’s ready to post.”
Step 6: Batch + Schedule
Now that you’ve got your prompts + graphics, it’s time to batch!
Sit down with a cup of something cozy and plug 4–5 posts into your scheduler (Later, Metricool, etc.) per week.
You just planned an entire month’s worth of content. 🙌🏼
Now all that’s left is to show up and serve.
